Long story short....My trainer is no longer working at the gym I've been going to since September 1st. He's opening his own facility July 1st. So many of us are Crossfit orphans and were sad at the possibility of having no where to train until then. However, yesterday was our inaugeral workout at Greenlake. I got there and in the back of the SUV was a load of kettlebells and dumbbells they had just bought. It was sweet.
Inaugeral Workout Day One - Greenlake

The cleans wiped me out pretty fast so this took me a while. I didn't have anything to write my time down on...but it was 18 mins. or so.
Another cool thing about this was we met over at the stadium stairs. Well I live on the East side of Greenlake and the stadium is on the West side. I mapped it out and it's about 1.5 miles from my house to where we met. I got a good run in on the way there AND the way back. If we keep meeting there, I'll be adding a lot of running to my workouts and this is actually great. I hate running as of now but I think I just need more practice at it. After the workout, I actually was able to run all the way home. Was a lil tired but not bad.
